Three Simple Tips for Beginner Songwriters
There are so many ways that you can write a song, but I want to give you some simple tips to get you started. Be sure to check out my video at the end of this blog.
Keep it simple —choose your subject
What do you want to write about? Brainstorm a few ideas, but pick just one topic for your song. Some examples include a topic of love, relationship, inspiration, or a story.
Write a story about the subject you decided on
Write everything you can think about in relation to that topic and the story you want to tell.
Organize your sentences and thoughts
Pull your sentences apart and put them in chronological order the way you want your story to be told.
